Reseda Ranch is the northern most portion of Reseda in the San Fernando Valley from Roscoe Boulevard to Saticoy Street, bounded by Wilbur Avenue on the east and Tampa Avenue on the west and the western section includes Tampa Avenue to Corbin Avenue between Strathern Street on the south and Cantara Street on the north. Largely composed of RA1 lots. Reseda Ranch has a more rural character where horses and barnyard amimals are kept. August 19, 2008 was the official unveiling of the first Reseda Ranch sign. The sign is located just south of Roscoe Blvd. on the west side of Tampa Ave. City Councilman Dennis Zine rode to the Reseda Ranch community’s unveiling of its new neighborhood sign on horseback: “This shows that when a community works together … nothing is impossible,” Zine said. “There is a lot of land in this area and when developers see that, they think apartments and condos. … But this community will now have its own identity, one that preserves the history of this region and its agricultural and equestrian roots.”
